Delivery times

How long it takes

From the auction to the Klaipėda terminal usually takes 6–10 weeks, depending on where the yard is in the US, the sailing schedule and customs.

The stages

• Collection from the yard — 3–7 days after payment.
• Road to the US port — 3–10 days.
• Ocean to Klaipėda — 4–6 weeks.
• Customs — 3–5 working days.
• Collection — the same week.

What affects the timing

• Distance from the yard to the US port.
• How quickly the container fills.
• Sailing schedule and sea conditions.
• How thoroughly customs inspects.
